A Life of Words

For once, I’m delivering a short — and definitely sweet — post.

Not long after little Archie joined our family in October, Kay came up with a new word for him combining sweet and precious — he’s swecious! Looking at these pics I took this week, I think that fits perfectly. He’ll be 5 months old Jan. 11, and when I weighed him this morning he was 8.6 pounds. The Havanese breed usually tops out at 11 or 12, so he may not have a lot more growing to do.

In these photos, Archie is next to our 20-year-old Alex and curled up in an adorable basket given to us full of doggie toys by my sister-in-law Phyllis Christlieb. Archie loves squeezing his little body into it with a toy or a treat. He also loves to chew on the basket, of course, but we hope it’ll last a while. 🙂 ❤
